2025-Dec-19

As Innovation and Entrepreneurship Pioneer, the University of Patras in collaboration with its Laboratory of Economics of Strategy, Innovation & Sustainability – LENS, substantially contributes to the reaTech project by deepening the dynamic intersection of economics of strategy, innovation and sustainability.

During the last months, UP engaged in all of CreaTech's main activities, the Capacity Building Program, the Knowledge Labs and the Start-Up Booster Program.

As part of their efforts, UP hosted the webinar “Sustainability, inclusion and social impact in CCIs: Green Practices in CCIs” dedicated to strengthening innovation, entrepreneurship, and collaboration in the Cultural and Creative Industries (CCIs). The event gathered students and staff of the Faculty of Design, EMUNI University representatives, CreaTech training participants, partners from the creative sector, and media.

Two start-up companies were invited to present their initatives. Vasilis Karavasilis , Co-Founder & Managing Director of eNVy softworks and Alice Rangou, Co-Founder of pop2see introduced their start-up company, presented their goals and aims in relation to CCIs and sustainability.

Their participation in the panel highlighted opportunities for deeper cooperation between higher education and the creative industries and the benefits such partnerships bring to students, institutions, and regional development.

In collaboration with the Athens Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation | AUEB, UP invited participants to an informational event regarding the 18th Interuniversity Entrepreneurship & Innovation Competition, Ennovation 2026, organized within the Knowledge Toolkit Lab of the project. Held in online format the members of CreaTech program addressed the topic of “Innovation & Entrepreneurship”.

We want to sincerely thank the University of Patras for their great efforts and are looking forward to the continuation of this successful collaboration!
