More than 150 participants, exceeding the project's target, are taking part in the training activities. The programme has now entered its final implementation phase and will conclude at the end of July 2026. A key milestone was reached in May, when the University of Tirana delivered two interactive training sessions as part of the programme. The sessions were made available both in person and online, allowing participants from across the consortium to join remotely and ensuring broad accessibility and engagement. In June, the programme moved into its next phase with the launch of the mentoring activities, providing participants with personalised guidance to help them transform the knowledge acquired during the training into concrete innovation initiatives within their institutions..

A distinctive feature of the CreaTech Capacity Building Programme has been the introduction of a network of tutors, each supporting participants throughout the learning journey and accompanying them during the mentoring activities. This personalised support has significantly contributed to maintaining participant engagement and facilitating the transition from training to the practical development of institutional innovation initiatives.

This tutoring model has recently been recognised as a best practice within the EIT HEI Community meetings, as it represents a simple yet highly replicable mechanism that enhances participant engagement without requiring any changes to the structure of the training programme. The experience demonstrates how dedicated support from each HEI can improve participation, continuity and mentoring effectiveness while remaining scalable across different institurions.

WP3 is also focusing on the establishment of new or improved institutional mechanisms that will ensure the long-term sustainability of the project’s impact. Drawing inspiration from successful EIT HEI projects and from the CreaTech preliminary results, partner institutions are currently designing initiatives such as community digital platforms, curriculum integration, alumni engagement schemes, and knowledge labs that will embed innovation and entrepreneurship more deeply into their institutional strategies beyond the lifetime of the project.

Through these activities, CreaTech is not only delivering high-quality capacity building but also creating a scalable and transferable model that can support long-term organisational transformation across Higher Education Institutions in the Cultural and Creative Industries ecosystem.
