On 12–13 October, the CreaTech consortium came together for its 4th Consortium Meeting, hosted by our partners at the University of Patras, Greece.
Over two productive days, we reflected on the progress made so far, shared insights and experiences, and discussed the next steps in strengthening innovation and entrepreneurship across Europe's cultural and creative industries. From scaling our Capacity Building Programme and Knowledge Labs to advancing the Startup-Booster-Programme and its 3rd cohort, developing the CreaTech Digital Learning Platform, and discussing Intellectual Property Management, the meeting offered plenty of opportunities to exchange ideas, address challenges, and shape the months ahead.
Besides these important project updates and milestones, we particularly enjoyed getting to know the places in which our partners work, collaborate, and bring projects like CreaTech to life: Exploring the impressive University of Patras campus, with its remarkable range of departments and disciplines, gave us a glimpse into the academic environment behind our partners' work. Along the way, we also learned more about the iconic Rio–Antirrio Bridge, enjoyed some wonderful Greek food, and had many valuable conversations beyond the meeting room!
These moments remind us why meeting in person matters: understanding the local contexts, people, and environments that shape our shared work brings a different dimension to European collaboration.
A big thank you to the University of Patras, especially Nikos Chatzistamoulou and Konstantinos E. Kounetas, for the warm hospitality and to all our partners for two days of inspiring exchange!
